Beaches

Listed below are just a few of the many wonderful coves and beaches to be found close by and on the Lizard. We are sure that visitors will know of many others and have their own personal favourites. Those keen on finding somewhere away from the crowds are very often successful even in the height of the summer.


Coverack Beach

Kennack Sands
Large sandy beach. Swimming, surfing, shop.

Kynance Cove
Spectacular scenery, sandy beach, brilliant blue seas hidden amongst the cliffs. Beach café, National Trust car park.

Porthoustock
Rocky shingle beach with parking on it. Popular with divers. Views over Falmouth Bay.



Gunwalloe
Famous for it's church in the beach. Large sandy area at low water, café, Life Guard, National Trust car park.

Poldhu
